Woa! I hope the game has other “views” on the battlefield than that birds eye perspective of the battlefield, for example the good old sattelite view. The graphics and sound were confusing and overwhelming more than anything else in that video. Wouldn’t you agree?
You can zoom into the action or swivel the camera around but as far as RTS (real time strategy) goes, this is it.
The screens they show here are during the height of ‘action’. But the game is really more strategy than action. You compete with other players to harvest resources that allow you to create civilizations with different technologies and weapons of mass destruction. The harried action on the screen is when the clashing has already begun. Not sure if you’ve ever played Age of Empires but it’s pretty similar.
