Sad Reflections

No, I'm not being introspective... It's just that... well... we actually own a snuggie.

Yes, I'll admit it, we own one. It started off as a joke. But then... well... I can't go on. I'm too ashamed.

We were in Vegas the first time we saw the infomercial on TV and laughed. We laughed and laughed and laughed. We could have been drunk. It's all a bit of a blur.

So the next day, we're talking to Spanky and Bettycola on the cab to the airport and mentioned this stupid looking new product. They had seen the add as well. And we laughed and laughed and laughed. We could have been drunk.

The more we talked about it, the more 'sane' the product started to sound. A blanket with sleeves? That's ridiculous! What kind of loser would get one of those. Mind you, they do look kind of cozy. And I guess it would be nice to work the TV remote without taking your arms out from under the blanket. Ya, I guess that's kind of neat. I can see my grandpa wanting one. Ya, he would like one. You know what would be funny? If we bought one! As a joke! That would be hilarious!

I'm pretty sure at that point, we were all secretly thinking "we'll say it's a joke but now I really want one".

Fast forward many months. We saw them in a store in North Van. Got one for us and gave one to Spanky & Bettycola (as a joke of course).

Now try and take our snuggies away and we'll knife you. We will shank you right in your your throat. So just stay away from our snuggie.

But then you see something like the video below. And that's just crazy...
